Actually, I think you and Larry would enjoy it. It&#039;s the first movie where a team of people meet and form for a mission. Think of the Guns of Navarone. Many movie cliches were first used here. 

Anyway, I found myself crying at moments of great emotion in the film and also cheering the samurai and the farmers on as they battle the bandits. The length and style of the movie just helps you get into it. 

I just read that Criterion has finished up a restored version of the film with major print improvements. I feel a Christmas present request coming on.</description>
