I saw Coraline the other night. I’m trying to write up a review, but I’ll tell you, it’s hard to know what to say about it other than it is one freaky film.
Coraline is a strange and unusual film. The concept is interesting, the execution exceptional, but as for effect? It gave me the willies. This is definitely not a movie for tiny tots. It spooked me.
It’s not a movie filled with happiness and light. It’s really grim and down, with a side of weirdness. I think older kids and fans of animated movies will enjoy this the most.
