Shocked? I Don’t Think So

You want me to post or something? Well, I’m reading this new expose of the Bush administration and find myself not at all surprised that George W. Bush knew that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. He was going to invade anyway.

On Sept. 18, 2002, CIA director George Tenet briefed President Bush in the Oval Office on top-secret intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, according to two former senior CIA officers. Bush dismissed as worthless this information from the Iraqi foreign minister, a member of Saddam’s inner circle, although it turned out to be accurate in every detail.

What a horrid man. And Bush views himself as another Harry Truman. I don’t think so. God, Bush is a waste of matter in this universe. The harm that he has caused this country will take generations to fix…if it can be fixed. We won’t even talk about all the lives that are gone due to his immaturity and idiocy.

Can’t we just impeach him and Cheney now? Let’s get these guys out of there.

Why am I not surprised that the day after this story broke, a Google on this story produces no hits on any M$M outlet, print or broadcast. The only current links are to liberal media sites.

Sure there are links to the April 2006 uncovering of Tenet’s assessment being ignored, but we have to assume now that the M$M is doing damage control and waiting to hear from the Board of Directors as to how best cover the story and covering Bush’s ass.

Despite all the attempts to ignore, or worse coverup, the fact that we were lied into this war, the evidence is staggering and can no longer be ignored by even the staunchest supporters. Unless of course you find it just as easy to stand behind a lie as the truth, in which case you deserves the same fate awaiting Bush and his fellow co-conspirators.

Off with their heads I say!

[that’s “deserve” not deserves in the last sentence. Like someone else I know, I can’t type either]
