Clone Wars

I went to see the new Clone Wars, a further entry in the Star Wars films. Though animated, I found it more entertaining than I expected. Some wonderful battle sequences full of stormtroopers, called Clones back then — after all, they all look like the same person (played by Temuera Morrison in the second Star Wars entry: Attack of the Clones). I actually became attached to them and hate the thought that they are programmed to destroy the Jedi.

Yes, this animated feature takes place before the last film’s adventures. It takes place between the Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith entries. Anakin Skywalker has not yet turned to the dark side, but Count Dooku is fighting the Republic and the Jedi.

I do have to say that it’s funny watching an animated version of Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu. The best thing about the movie? There’s an Anakin Skywalker, but there’s no Hayden Christensen playing him.
